ArtisansYour responsibilities will be great but extremely rewarding. The project will require individuals with knowledge(or even prowess if we're being optimistic) of woodworking, metalworking, design and electronic/electric engineering.Artisans
A tall order, i know. The main aim for the group is to design, construct and maintain the equiptment that the musicians and artisans request for use in the project. Do not misunderstand! You are not their servants. We need your abilities to keep the wheels turning. If i'm brutally honest, your skills are the most important.
I envisage creations ranging from building/modding musical instrume

Visual ArtistsHere is my personal weakness. I am not a talented artist. I am barely even competant. On the other hand, I do love visual art and have no problems understanding the processes involved and different types that can be used.Visual Artists
As mentioned before, the project will need illustrators, animators, graphic designers as well as at least one strong individual to coordinate the whole team. All artists can expect to have their personal style respected (and celebrated) but should also be open to trying new things. As deviantArt is full of extremely talented artists, i am not worried about scraping the bottom of the barrel to make ends meet. &nb

MusiciansOk, so it's probably easier if I talk a little about myself.Musicians
I love music, a lot.
I play guitar (surprise, surprise) mainly but also used to play and plan to get back into playing other instruments including clarinet, violin and piano. I concentrate on electric guitar most and have an army of stompboxes and fx units. I also have moderate experience in computer recording and multi-tracking. I am currently studying electronic engineering and find it useful for fx and recording to have a practical knowledge of the equiptment.
I enjoy a wide variety of music ranging from singer-songwriters(like Shawn Colvin

money etcFirst off, for the moment there is no money.money etc
The reason i keep mentioning this is that i realise how much i am asking of people and how some will struggle to commit time to the project due to a need to work and to eat.
If there were some quick way to amass enough money to pay people for this project i would. Instead, i hope we can all contribute in our spare time and hope that the project is capable of providing some monetary reward in the future.
Until such a time, everyone is responsible for their own travel, materials and equiptment.
I don't know how the copywrite issues will be organise

i did think of another possible problem: under 18s may not be so able to travel, ie the project should be UK wide and members may need to go to another city/country for the day/weekend.
